Studio shoot

So I am now officially a Uni student, been here for over a month now and really enjoying every moment of it! 
I have had lots of lectures but of course my favourite unit is 'Digital Photography', where I get to work in the amazing studios! As you can see from my work I have worked in the studio before, but I am learning so much every day and cannot wait to get stuck in.
Over the past couple of weeks I think I have decided to specialise in portraiture. Although I love every form of photography, I always find I enjoy portraits that little bit more.
Here is some examples of the work I have been doing over the last few weeks. I have used one single red light for this brief, and a large reflector to add a few more highlights. 
What I like most about these two shots is how I have used a very similar set up for each portrait, but created two very different moods.
