Isle of Wight

I had a lovely opportunity to visit the Isle of Wight with my boyfriend and his family, so took this opportunity to take in the wonderful views! I had visited the Isle of Wight as a child, but could barely remember it...from the moment I stepped of the boat I had to catch my breath. It is every photographers dream and I would thoroughly recommend it!

Our first stop was at an owl and monkey sanctuary. The place was beautiful and there were defiantly some cheeky residents! It was not however the best place for photography, as I always had the difficulty of working round the cage lines. This picture however was one of my favourites, as I got the chance to get up close to one of the owls.

Of course my favourite part of the trip however, had to be the views... even when we were just going for a small walk I seemed to find myself taking my camera out every five seconds!
To finish the trip off we went to see some 'Electric woods'. This was truly a magical experience and really put my photographic skills to the test! I got many photographs of the woodland but found the lighting was very difficult to work with so only got a few favourite shots. The woodland was lit with various coloured lights and lanterns, bringing the trees to life.
A big thank you to my boyfriend and his family for such a great week!
