Fairy Tales

Sorry I haven't posted in a While, I have been super busy with my final year of university!

I have recently completed a project on fairy tales. With this project I photographed a young girl in the studio, in a deadpan style. In each portrait she was dressed in a princess dress, with a quote below each image from the original tales. I wanted to explore why we tell fairy tales to our children, when they give such high expectations and when they were originally very gruesome.
