I am glad to say I have handed in all my University submissions, now it is just a waiting game!
I have lots to look forward to, including two exhibitions coming up! I am looking forward to VERGE, an exhibition planned, prepared and organised by myself and 19 other photographers, opening for one week only at the end of June! With my project (Are we humanising our dogs?) coming to an end, I am thinking of possible new projects, maybe something a bit different...cats? This week I have the company of my Aunt and Uncles dog, as you can see he is very photogenic!

Last week, I had the opportunity to photograph a beautiful ceremony in Rochester...
Congratulations to the lovely couple! I am coming to the last few weeks of my graduate project...with my final Crit tomorrow! I am looking forward to seeing all my final images together, and ready for my exhibition...coming soon...
Here are a few portraits from my shoot with Beatrice! She was a great model and even has her own Instagram page, give her a follow #QUEEN_B_CHICHUAHUA I am coming to the end of my dog project, and have really loved photographing some amazing characters!
I have a few more portraits to upload in the next week or so, but for now, enjoy these portraits of the very trendy Minnie! I have been spending a lot of time in the studio photographing dogs, so thought I would share something a bit different.
Here are a few portraits from a studio sitting with the cheeky Abi, we had lots of fun, and even got to enjoy some bubbles!! A few portraits from my latest shoot with Jack Russell, Archie. Very well behaved and a great model!
My Pampered Pooches project is coming to the last few weeks, I am looking forward to photographing more dogs and getting my final images printed and ready for the exhibitions... Today 2 year old Alfie came into the studio, he was very well behaved and we got some lovely portraits!
We also had a belated christmas... As my project exploring pampered pooches continues, I have decided to include some small dogs within my series. Alongside my toy/miniature breeds, I am photographing a few small breeds, in the hope to get as many dogs in the studio as possible.
I have a number of dogs in the studio this week, but am still looking for more! Below are a few portraits of Daisy, the French Bulldog. This week I had two dogs in the studio, a Pug and a Brussels Griffon! Two of the most friendly dogs, Bonny (Pug) was a show dog and Raymond the Griffon. If you have a toy/miniature dog, please get in touch.
This week I had a seminar to discuss my ideas about my 'Pampered Pooches' project. I shared my portraits from my first shoot, and everyone was pleased with what I have completed so far. The ideas I have been exploring include how we are almost 'humanising' our dogs, treating them as part of the family, but also dressing them as part of the family. I am looking at how fashion is effecting our love for our pooches, and also how we are using these accessories to keep our dogs warm as they are so small and get cold very easily. I have chosen to use different coloured backdrops for each dog, as I am influenced by the colourful fashion portraits we see daily. Here are a few portraits from my shoot with Dolly: Please get in touch if you have/know any toy/miniature dogs that would like to get involved!
