A quick shoot of my own puppy Atlas, he is 6 months now and both ears are up, but these were the days when he was one up one down!
This little boy had his first birthday the other day, and what better way to celebrate than some lovely portraits?
Such a lovely dog, rescued from Romania! I had the opportunity to photograph, this beautiful 14 week old ball of energy recently! She was so fast so I had to be quick to capture her beauty. She has the most wonderful eyes, and once we got her to sit still, I was able to capture them shining right at me (or daddy)!
Sorry I haven't posted for a while, I have had a very busy home life the last few months... including the new addition to our family, Atlas!
Atlas is a chihuahua x bichon frise and is now 4 months old, he weighs just 2kg! Sadly he did not come from the best of starts, and it wasn't until we got him to the vets that we knew something was wrong. He had many health issues, but we have now got through it and he has been vaccinated and is enjoying puppy life! Today, he helped test my new backdrop, and proudly showed off his 'sit' and 'watch' commands. (he got an award for this at puppy school, proud parents!) I had a lovely sister portrait session in Hythe, with two lovely models. With an opportunity also to create a wonderful 'walking' family portrait, using my retouching to bring out the girls bright coats. We walked amongst the autumn trees, along the Hythe Royal Military Canal...
Last week I volunteered my time to Last Chance Animal Rescue, I spent my morning photographing for an upcoming fundraising event and also meeting and photographing a number of their animals.
For information on the animals I photographed, or if you would like to adopt any please check out their website here. On sunday I had the lovely opportunity to join a fantastic charity on their Reunion walk, meeting and photographing some wonderful dogs and their families.
If you would like to help and support the charity, check out their website; Give A Dog A Home. Had a lovely cheerful shoot, with baby Albie at the weekend. Here are some of my favourite portraits!
Taken, using natural lighting in home environment. This week I had the chance to photograph two beautiful german shepherds, each were great models! 12 Year Old Lewis had her shoot in the garden and inside the house, and 4 year old Max modelled amongst the fields. Lou Max
